Pegasus, a reaction-commentary YouTuber who primarily reacts to the online world, has recently been one of our long-term clients, a relationship we sustained for over a year. Editing one reaction video per day for this client required us to think outside the box and learn the opposite of our usual method, namely the phrase "less is more". We had to craft our editing process to achieve the slow, laid-back approach that Pegasus desired while still retaining viewers, a task that was made all the more difficult by the ever-changing trends and expectations of the YouTube platform.

For this project, our goal was to increase viewer retention and engagement while slowing down our editing pace, a difficult game to master in today's digital landscape. We had to take into account the amount of time viewers were spending watching each video, the amount of comments and likes they were leaving, and the overall impact each video had on the channel's growth. All of this was in addition to the standard editing process of selecting the right clips, creating an engaging story, and adding visual effects.
